Our story
Dental RX — Digital Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in Bogotá
Dental RX was born from the need to give Bogotá dentists access to hospital-quality diagnostic imaging with the speed modern clinical practice demands. We are a center specialized exclusively in digital oral and maxillofacial radiology, which lets us concentrate all our experience and protocols on a single discipline: imaging diagnosis of the oral cavity and adjacent structures.
We work directly with specialists in implantology, oral surgery, orthodontics, endodontics and general dentistry, delivering interpreted images in digital format the same day as the study. Our team understands that time is critical for clinical planning, and our workflows are designed to respond with that urgency.
We serve both patients referred by dentists and private patients. In every case, the result includes a structured radiology report and images in DICOM and JPG format for immediate integration into the specialist’s software.

Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) — The gold standard in 3D diagnosis
Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) is the most advanced imaging modality available in dentistry. It captures a complete volumetric region of the oral cavity in a single rotation, with a significantly lower radiation dose than conventional medical CT.
The result is a three-dimensional reconstruction that allows precise millimeter evaluation of bone density, the location of critical anatomical structures (inferior alveolar nerve, maxillary sinus), the presence of periapical lesions and the exact position of impacted teeth. This information is essential for planning implants, orthognathic surgery and complex endodontic treatments.
Our CBCT unit produces images with voxels down to 0.08 mm. Images are delivered in standard DICOM format, importable directly into the most widely used implant planning software: Simplant, Nobel Clinician, coDiagnostiX, Implant Studio and Exoplan.
